Re: A little 7mm practical help

Jeff, thanks for the input. My only concern with running this case in my Sako mag is the length of the mag. I don't currently have any 300 win mag brass to compare with but do you think it might be possible to seat a 180 Berger to an oal of about 3.6 inches and still have the bearing surface of the bullet in the neck of the case? Or do you foresee any issues with this oal? There's not a lot of info on this round to sort through.
Thanks

I don't have your reamer specs so I don't know. All the ones I built were off of Rem 700 and Wby actions and we had no issues at all with the bullets seated way out there. I would not worry about it. I never load a mag box anyway. I get along single feeding rifles just fine. The LRKM Shawn is building me will be my first actual single shot though. Can't wait.

    Jeff

after shooting several I built one of my own it seems like a very efficient load (like the 308) I used nosler 300.win. brass and necked them down.not as much powder of recoil as the 7mm mag. but six different guns shoot half min. or better.just not much reloading data
