lighter loads

i have a stupid question

im looking at a 300wm rifle and i would like to reduce the loads alot with out losing accuracy ? but i would like to have the option to shoot a full 300wm load but most of the time i will be shooting say 308 size loads can this be done with out losing accuracy ?

thanks

Re: lighter loads

Yeah you can develop a load for a lower node. It might be even more accurate at 100yds.
But I doubt it would turn out well using the same powder. You should go to a better filling, cooler/slower powder for reduced loads.
This might defeat your intent
