ladder test questions

I've never done a ladder test before. Always used different bullet combinations in 3 to 5 shot groups. Needless to say I've sent a lot of powder and bullets downrange trying to find the best load. Question 1, for an ultra may case what powder increments to use. Question 2, what distance to run the test. For question 2 I have worked up loads that shot very well at 100 but not at 200 or 300 yds. Now I do all my testing at 200 or further.

Re: ladder test questions

From what I have read, .3 grain increments at 200 yards minimum and 300 yards is even better!
