just fired my first loads with the cow method of fire forming

Well be a stubborn butt about trying this method......
well duh! should have done this long time ago and saved all my bullets .....

Fired 3.5 grains of bullseye with grits, and toilet paper to perfectly form 7x30 waters from 30-30 brass.
out of 35 rounds , I lost one piece of remington brass and it was a little tarnished when it came out of tumbler. It split right at the end of the neck.
But they formed great, then neck sized and ready to load with 120 hornady v-max

Done over 10k filling between 60 to 70 % with bullseye --- takes a lot less time plus perfect cases.

It seemed to take a long time for me to get the COW fireforming cases ready. I'd rather just use a medium load in the parent case.

Tyler, Boss Hoss's way is a much easier way to do it though you do go through more powder but Bullseye is pretty cheap.

I did 50 243AI's the other day using this method and didn't use any wax or TP. It was as easy as dumping powder into the case and firing towards the sky. Perfectly formed every time.
