Imperial Dry Lube

Hey Guys I have a question regarding Imperial Dry Lube and Media. Basically, does it work and are dry lubes for neck sizing effective?

Thanks,

DocB

Re: Imperial Dry Lube

I just began using it, full length sizing and its amazing. Just a quick swipe with a couple of fingers and rub the case lightly and it will slide through the dies like butter. It does not require the extra cleaning that the RCBS sizing lube needs. I have only used it once and so far I love it.

Re: Imperial Dry Lube

for neck sizing you do not need lube. At least I have never used any lube when I neck size and I have never had any difficulty.
As for full length sizing, I do that so little that when I do I raid my wife's sewing box and use her singer sewing machine oil. Also I have never had any problems using sewing machine oil. I have never had a stuck case, been reloading for 35 years now.

I started using this exact product to aid in consistent bullet seating pressure. I use Titanium Nitride Bushings for neck sizing and that requires no lube. But I have recently used the dry lube on necks with both steel and TN bushings and it does a nice job of smoothing out this process too. I think it does a good job and makes each case glide in and out easier.
