Might try 24 to 25grs varget too. Its my preferred powder for 223 but I shoot 68gners.

I have loaded this bullet using 25 gr of Varget with CCI primers. Got very good accuracy out my HBar 1:9 Twist 20" barrel.

Keep in mind the animals we shoot for food and display are not bullet proof. Contrary to popular belief, they bleed and die just like they did a hundred years ago. Being competent with a given rifle is far more important than impressive ballistics and poor shootability. High velocity misses never put a steak in the freezer.

Haha i called a thread dead and Goodycat got on my a$$ about it, he said that fighting on the thread is useless and told me to pm him. So i did and never got a reply back.  he said by calling the thread dead, then the constitution must be dead.
