Re: Help

I have no idea, the only info you gave is 69.5 grns of Retumbo in Nosler brass. How many firings? What rifle, factory chamber? Bullet? OAL? Have you cleaned the chamber? Or as simple as have you tried to close the bolt without a round in it?

Re: Help

I wondered the same thing, are you sure it's not something with the bolt?

I would assume that the sizing die would've taken care of any bulges in the cases from the previous firing.
Especially a FL die.

Sometimes neck size only dies can leave cases a tad too big and be pretty snug on closing the bolt.

Is it all the cases you have on hand, or just a few of them that are acting up??

Re: Help

I don't think your brass should be wore out, I toss brass when the primer pockets get loose or sometimes I tighten them and still use them. You could have caused a buldge in the case by pushing to hard with the seater die, or you could have you oal way off and its trying for a hard jam. To many variables for a certain answer.
