H1000 or Retumbo with 180gn Berger?

I have a new 26" Remington 7mm Rem Mag and am looking for help with a load.

I have a box each of 180 grain Berger VLD and also 175 gn Sierra Gameking bullets. Remington cases and CCI 250 mag primers.

Whats the best powder out of these two in this bullet weight? Do you have any pet loads? thanks.

My first choice of those two would be to try the H1000.

    Based on Quikload:
    H1000 65.12gr- @ 62366psi= 2879fps
    Retumbo 68.1gr @ 62399psi= 2941fps

Looks like Retumbo gives you 60fps more, but you will have to determine what your most accurate load is.
    Both powders are temp sensitive.
Retumbo is one of my favorite powders, have used it in 25-06, 7 STW , 6.5-06AI, 300 WM.

I have a stack of H1000 for my Edge but no Retumbo so I might try and pick up some tomorrow. I thought Retumbo would give higher velocities as I have tested up to 67 grains of H1000 today and there is still plenty of room in the case. Just getting pressure signs at 67gn.
I have not chronographed or tried for accuracy yet, just banged off a few shots out the back door of the shed to check for pressure and run the barrel in a bit.
Hope to try Retumbo if I can get some.

H-1000 for sure. Rutumbo will do if its all you have but your speed will be better with H-1000.

H1000 is as temperature stable as can be in my .280 RCBS from 10F to 72F. I never get to test them much higher than room temperature where I live.

Retumbo has proven temperature stable also. Is this what you meant to state?
