I second all the good words about RL22! It has worked great for me.

My two favorite powders for the 7mm Rem Mag and 160 Accubond bullets are RL-22 and H1000. With both I am able to achieve close to 3000 ft/sec with very good accuracy

RL-25 70 grs for me has given stellar accuracy and high speed (3077fps) with the 160 accubonds you have to try it!

Barrel legth is 26 inches, and chrono is prochrono. I have shot this load in 80 degrees and in 0 degress it and have shot at least 200 rnds and chronoed half of them very consistent load in my gun. And the accuracy for a hunting rifle is good I have gotten at least 5 5 shot 200 yard groups in and under 1 inch with a few .25 inch groups when the conditions are perfect! I seat my accubonds .010" of the lands.

Not 160 but the best load you will will ever find for the 7mag is 65 grains of IMR 4350 with Fed 215 primers and either the 140 grain Nosler ballistic tip or the Accubond. I have been shooting this load for years and have NEVER shot in a rifle that did not group good. I have killed 75+ whitetails with the ballistic tip but not all in their tracks. Never lost a deer but had to track some. I have killed 8 with the Accubond and fell right where they stood out to 350 yards.

Re: Goto loads for 7mm REM Mag and 160 Accubonds

RL22 and 560 and Retumbo and IMR 4831 have all given me good results. I just got back from the range with some RL22. 168 bergers shot one group .2 and one .4 (and two that were greater than an inch but we won't talk about those.) Amazing what a bit of tension on the action screws can do.

Point is that my gun function much better if I can keep the MV just a hair less than 3000fps. A few others at the range have mentioned the same.
