56.5 grains H4831SC pushing 140 NBT is super accurate and puts the smack down on whitetails and hogs.

Thanks for the replies guys, please keep them coming I like to hear multiple view points. I am though thinking about using 4350 or 4831 since I can use this in my .243win as well.

My 270 likes IMR 4831 with 140s and R-22 with 130s. Its a rem 700 22" barrel.

Is their a bid difference in IMR 4831 and H4831? Where in NC are you located crappiedan? Thanks.

Yes...they burn at slightly different rates. Both can be used in the .270, but don't cross load data between the two. For me the "H" was just a little more accurate than the "IMR".

Another vote for h4831. I use the SC. Some where between 58 and 60 grains your gonna find the sweet spot for a 130 accubond.
