size brass, trim necks with RCBS three way cutter,
do primer pockets with lyman cutter, then do the flashholes
with lyman tool, since doing this ended flyers....and better groups
If you can use Lapua brass, you can get away without doing any of this. However, if you have to use Win. Rem, etc than your going to have to uniform and clean primer pockets and flash holes.
I used to use a Lyman tool, but it indexed off the case mouth and I normally deburred the flash hole prior to shooting (so I didn't want to trim to a specific length until the shoulder was completely formed and consistent for my rifle.
So, I changed to the Sinclair tool, which indexes off the inside of the case (web area around the flash hole).
K&M Services also sells a flash hole deburring tool that indexes off the inside of the case rather than the case neck, and is the brand I use to inside deburr the flash holes.
