What the heck are "shoulder sleeves"? Who makes this tool?

The ring is of no consequence, its just a tight fit between chamber and the brass. Neck sizing may be useful. You might want to try a small base die.

See, it was hepfull...you are on your way to learning how to set up your dies for your chamber. You just killed two birds with one stone (or post)! Almost none of my dies are screwed alll the way down to the shell holder. BUT, some I had to mill off twenty five thou off of either the die or the shell holder to get propper sizing...every chamber is different.

Another tip.....along with measuring your brass head space..I take my fireing pin assy out of the bolt to help me find the correct head space. Without the FP assy, you bolt, when closed on an empty chamber, FALLS CLOSED. You should be able to push the bolt ahead on a sized brass and the bolt should fall about halfway closed by gravity alone....very light push to close it the rest of the way.

Your welcome.
