Federal #205 primers?

I have been trying to find a 2 boxes of 1000 primers for my 223 Rem, everywhere I have been going they have been sold out of Federal #205's.

I have not had much luck finding an 8lb keg of Powder either.

I wonder if anyone else is having the same trouble?

Re: Federal #205 primers?

Found this on Sinclaire's website: SORRY, FEDERAL IS EXPERIENCING A LENGTHY DELAY IN COMMERCIAL PRIMER PRODUCTION. WE ARE NOT TAKING BACK ORDERS FOR FEDERAL AT THIS TIME.

Shoot! no pun intended. I just turned down 2000 CCI Small Rifle primer's, looks like I should have grabbed them.
We are going PD hunting in Wyoming in June, so I have a little time.

You forgot to mention what powder/s you were looking for in 8lbs. kegs. I found 8 lbs. kegs of powder, just not sure if it is the powder you want.

Re: Federal #205 primers?

Try Powder Valley, Inc.
According to their web site they are supposed to get Federal 205's in this coming Tuesday, Jan 6.

What powder are you looking for?

Re: Federal #205 primers?

Any of these three: BL-C, Benchmark, or H322.
With BL-C my rifle just shot 5 into the .4's.
Thanks!

Looks like Powder Valley has all three of them.
