Excesive Neck Thickness??

After some 5-6 reloads, I have noticed that my 6,5-284 lapua brass, after having been fired, does not allow a bullet to go through the neck before resizing. The chamber is cut to minimum specs so the brass does not expand much when being fired, although it is a no turn neck.-

The question is would you ream the ID of the necks? expand and turn OD ? Or leave it as is?Thanks.

Is the I.D. of the neck uniformly more restricted, or is it only at the juncture of the neck and shoulder?

Reaming will correct either condition, but I wouldn't know what might be causing the first condition.

It's normal and there isn't a problem really. Annealing would reset things if needed.

    Donut.

If you have a Forster or Wilson trimmer, you can get a reamer to alleviate the condition.
