Elevations role in load pressures.....

Just curious on everyones experiences with elevation changes and its direct impact on load or case pressures.

For instance, a good load for 4800 ft. taken up to Elk camp at 10,600 ft.

Results in what pressure differences and needs to change loads ?

Does temperature usually have a greater effect than altitude ?

Thanks for your input...

Re: Elevations role in load pressures.....

No measurable difference in pressure. Loads will shoot higher at long range (but you know that!).

When I was in ElPaso, my 6/284 loads that were stable at sea level would not stabilize at that altitude. Just ensure you are not on the ragged edge for bullet stability.
