elevation effects on powder?

elevation effects on powder?

I live in north Ga, elevation here at lake lanier is 1071. Does elevation play a big part in accuracy?? Im a 308 man. what powder should i start with? several to choose from. 20' bull barrel on LTR

    Elevation does not affect powder.

    For a 308 and midweight bullets, Varget is usually very accurate.
