Does any one use this ballistics calculator? (open Load)

This calculator does not seem to be even close to the long range hunting calculator I tryed this one wanting farther than 1500 yrds
If I change the elevation to higher it says to go up with the clicks on the scope I thought the higher you were the flatter the bullet (less air I thought) what aint I seeing??
