determining the right load

determining the right load

Can someone give me some input on this? When working up a load would it be best to see how they shoot at 25 yds or 100yds?

I think most of the folks on this board (including me) would say 2-300yds is the minimum for really testing accuracy. Provided you can shoot in low wind conditions and you have access to those ranges to shoot at. But out of the 2 you gave, 100 would certainly beat 25.
