data from 338 RUM Shoot today

Hello all,

I hadnt been able to find much data on this forum for load info on the 338 RUM, specifically with Retumbo and H1000. Here is what I found shooting through chrony.

250gr AB & 87gr 7828ssc - 2901 avg fps. extreme spread was 16 fps

265gr TTSX (Lapua LRX) & 96.5gr Retumbo - 3033 avg fps (sub moa). extreme spread was 35 fps

265gr TTSX (Lapua LRX) & 93gr H-1000 - 2961 avg fps (best group, all overlapping). Extreme spread was 15fps!

There were no signs of pressure with any load. The Retumbo and H-1000 loads were very compressed loads. I am going to try the H-1000 up to 94 grains in hope to reach the magical 3000 fps.

Barrel is a Benchmark barrel 28" in length. If you have any more questions please let me know
