I honestly could now tell you what the throat is.
Yep, tried 4350 first and saw no viable reason to try anything else. What's your purpose for the rifle?

deer hunting in good old kentuck and hopeful a trip out west for some speed goats one of these days

the deer hunting sould be 500 yards and under but i can stretch it out a bit more if i have to.

Right on, in my opinion if your shootin over 500 on game bump that charge up a bit, you'll see quite a huge difference in velocity from 41g and 43. Smaller case, so small powder increases gain substantial velocity. For example, *off the top of my head, @ 43.7g my drop with a 100yd zero is 11" less than that of a 42.1g load. I don't have a chrono so I can't tell you the muzzle difference but it's big. I'd be interested to see if 41ish grains would still keep you at a proficient velocity for taking game at those extended ranges.

yes im going to i just got this gun so im running some 100 or so light loads through it first before i turn up the heat ;-}

well be bumping up to as soon as i make up my mind on what i want to run and i looks like 130s have it. as soon as i get there seating down
