You can buy the PACT XP for $229! That unit is about 99.9% as good as an Ohler 35 for roughly half the money. Have never used the XP, but have owned a PC2 for about 12 to 15 years, and can count the rounds it didn't read on two hands in that time frame. I've also used the Ohler35 a good bit (a guy I used to shoot with owned it). The Ohler and the PACT are really all that I would even consider purchasing

I have had no problems and no complaints with my Shooting Chrony Master.

It did act flaky once and cleaned up after replacing the battery.

Otherwise, I have nothing to compare it to. I just wish I'd had one years ago.

I have also not done anything to validate or calibrate it. But, I don't seem to have major issues with my ballistics programs, BC's, and trajectories out to about 1k as some people report.

With low dollar consumer electronics, luck of the draw could always be a factor.

Since nothing's broken (yet), I can't really speak to the customer service either.

All three are accurate but the SC Beta just wasn't reliable. Far too many error readings and very finicky about light conditions.

The ProChrono is in another league as far as reliability. Works with just about any light and has a large sensing area.

My experience with the ProChrono and Chrony is the exact opposite of your experience.
