My Chrony Master has been a good tool and don't believe it has ever 'lied' to me.

Re: chronograph sugestions

I've used the Oehler 35, the Shooting Chrony Beta, and the ProChrono Digital.

As expected the Oehler is the best machine but easily the best value for my money is the ProChrono Digital.

All three are accurate but the SC Beta just wasn't reliable. Far too many error readings and very finicky about light conditions.

The ProChrono is in another league as far as reliability. Works with just about any light and has a large sensing area.
