Chronograph
Looking at buying a chronograph to help with accuracy. I have never used one and nobody in the area has one. Was wondering which are the best. I reload all my ammo so hoping to improve on them.

Re: Chronograph
I don't know what's best but for $100 I got the Shooting Chrony F1 and use it for archery and rifle. My fps numbers line up with what others are getting online with identical barrel lengths so I believe it is accurate.

Re: Chronograph
probably the two best are the Ohler and the Pact. Readings are very similar between the two, but of course the Ohler has the third screen to verify the shot. I use an old Pact PC2 that I've had for around 15 years now (maybe longer). I can count the bad shots on my fingers after 15 years (maybe six or eight). The CEDM looks good as well, but I'm kind of a made in the USA person.

Still not worth $350 difference. Had the Ohler been sold for $300, it would be a good buy. Fifteen years ago they were nearly $400, where as the PC2 was $279 delivered with the light bar added to the package.

Re: Chronograph
I have used a Pact2 for 12+ years and would recommend it. Unless you want to spend the money on a Oehler at least spend the money on the Pact. I have seen some of the cheaper chronys, used by fellow shooters at the local range, give some wild readings.
