Case Trimmer

So here is the deal, i don't do a huge quantity of loads per year but i am looking for a new manual trimmer that is accurate and trims square, preferably in the $100 region. I already know that about 8 out of 10 of you guys that respond are gonna have different opinions, but i would like to hear what you guys think would be the best investment.

Re: Case Trimmer

In my opinion, the best manual case trimmer for the money is the Wilson or Sinclair/Wilson setup. They are a lathe type trimmer that uses caliber specific case holders to align the brass with the cutter.

Bought a Forster, do not like it. Later, bought a Wilson with the calibrated adjustment, and WOW; what a difference. Great tool.

^^^ My favorite right here. Wilson & Micrometer. Great setup.

Re: Case Trimmer

If you have multible calibers go with the wilson for sure. If you only load 1 caliber go with the lee system, effective and accuate. But, it is slow.

Re: Case Trimmer

I have heard and read nothing but great things about the wilson setup. So this pretty much seals the deal. Any preference on which option to choose for the various setups offered?
