Re: case saver swage for primer pockets
I us the hart's on 338 edge brass. Works as staited. Have not found anything about the end result that I don't like. The process requires you to hit the tool with a hamer usually twice. Wish I had something that worked with a press. The primer is securely held in place though it seams after shot pocket losens back up to previous lose fit. Then just swage it again. Have not tryed multiple times though, but it puts my mind at ease knowing no gas is going to escape back at me. I know most throw brass away after 5-7 reloads in the edge. Other than lose primer pocket is there some other reason for this. Don't know about 243 though. Any one else swage the pockets care to chime in?
Good shooting
