Bullet weight and twist rates

I have a 243 AI with a 1 in 13 twist rate Iam looking to try Fowler bullets but I can only get hold of 80gr in the UK will they stabilize,

What is the length of the bullets and the velocity used?

Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (how bad your last shot was, how big the group is going to be, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.

es, they should.... No.

.243" cal 80's stabilized ok in my buddies 6mm Rem AI.
He used Sierra 80 gr " Blitz".

Second try....

Yes. Your .243 Aishould be able to drive 80's ok from a
1-13 twist.


My buddy shot 80gr Blitz from a 1-14" twist 27" bbl using his 6mm Rem AI.
