Re: BLC-2 and 22-250 help?

Nosler Reloading Guide number 4 lists IMR4895 as the most accurate powder tested. That's were I started with 50 Gr V-Max. Shot better than any other load I've used in my 22-250 thats the load I've been using now for three years. 3800 fps +. One exception I stumbled across Benchmark which is also an awesome 22-250 powder more velocity than the 4895.

Re: BLC-2 and 22-250 help?

Waffen, Glad you found something that works. I have found that Ramshot "Big Game" is wonderful for 55 grain pills. Really consistent, low ES and SD's and very temperature insensitive. I too have had trouble with a couple of rifles wanting to shoot "two groups" while testing loads, etc. I finally solved that problem by seating the bullet a little deeper into the case. The two group syndrome vanished when I did that.
Merry Christmas and Happy Shooting.
