Will the RL 17 or 19 stay stable in the varied temperature, I have had major POI changes with RL 22 in a 300win?
Where can I find the information on the change in powders depending upon temp & velocity? I know my varmint rifles zeroed perfectly here shoot quite a bit high when I go to the mountains for rockchucks.
I've seen some temp issues with R17 in my varmint loads but I usually stay with the Retumbo, H1000 or H4350, all have shoot great groups but only the slow stuff will yield the velocity I'm wanting. Magpro is the velocity king in the 270 WSM as far as I'm concerned, I maxed out at 3420FPS with 140 gr bullets but could not get the accuracy and SD I was looking for so I just stay with Retumbo, extremely low SD with max speed and accuracy
I go from shooting in -20 to 90 degrees with this load and see no changes!
