This isn't really a site for talking about small caliber rifles. You are better off going to The High Road or Saubier with this question.

I have tried IMR4895, H4895, Varget, IMR4320 and N133 in a couple different .22-250's and gotten decent accuracy (.2-.4"). This has been with 40-52gn Ballistic Tips and SMK's. JohnnyK.

Both of the two you mentioned are classic powders for the 22-250. The 760 is very close to the famous h 380'and load data is similar. I have had good to excellent results with target as well, but right now, my all time best performer is IMR 8208 XBR. This stuff is very clean burning, FAST, and incredibly accurate. Low ES, and SD as well. I am using a 55 Berger varmint match, and they shoot groups that you wouldn't believe . CCI 200, or Fed 210 @ 2.464 OAL. Good luck, have fun.

Well actually, Reloader 15 and H380 work the best for me and I've tried just about all the medium burn rate powders. Of the 2 you are looking at I would go with the WW760.

Imr 4064 and varget have both worked well for me. 4064 is a bit dirty but cleaning when accuracy drops off is no prob.

Iron worker,
Out of the three powders mentioned, Varget is in my opinion the best. I have since switched to H4895, getting better velocities and tighter groups with my father's custom Remington 700 .22-250.

I have a contrary Rem 700 that did not shoot well with any of the mentioned powders. Most 22-250's are not fussy about any medium burn powder. I finally found one that shoots well in my factory barrel. I am getting pretty consistent 1/2" groups with 40 grs. of AA2700. CCCI 200 primer and 53 gr. Sierra match bullets.
