We ordered 30 caliber VLd's in 168, 190 and the 210's. We worked up loads for a 300 RUM and a 30-338...Finally got the 210's to shoot in the 30-338, but we had to come within .010 of the lands before we saw signs of real good accuracy. If you are going to keep the rifle then a call to Kevin Wyatt might help. Wyatt's Outdoor Custom Rifles - Magazine Boxes
He can install one of his extended mag boxes for you...also feel free to email Walt Berger with your questions. He is a fine gentleman and will correspond usually within a day or so. He will also email you various loads to try...I think he generates them using "Quick Load" but am not positive. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
keep working at it...they are very good bullets but must be seated and loaded properly for your specific rifle Good Luck! 30-338
