berger vld or barnes for long range

for those of u that have tried both what would u prefer and y

    They are both great Bergers have higher BC and more choices, what game are you after and at what range?

    Berger and use a heavy for caliber offering. They are two completely different bullets, what one gives up close, the other gives up at long range. I use Bergers because they work best for me at the longest distance I will shoot, but they also do a good job up close where I can be sure of better placement.

    im shooting a rem 700 sendero 7mm ultra mag... have you done that seating test yourself if so what was the outcome and how drastic was the results

    I have done it or my own version of Eric's many times. Results have jumped off the target at times. But always there is a noticeable difference.
