Hot barrel grouping was typical 3/8 to 1/2moa bipod shooting. But more important, cold barrel ACCURACY was better than 1/4moa.
That is, my first shot could be counted on as within 1/4moa from center of mark. So at 300, I could pull it out, drop it on it's bipod in the dirt, hit a 1" dot with one shot(no sighters, fouling, warming, etc) & put it back.
All you could ask for woodchucks to 600 in 223.
But I screwed up the barrel in an accident. Rebarreled in 6br with a Pacnor.
Now it hot groups 1/4moa, but can't be counted on to produce any real accuracy in the field.
I need to rebarrel again with something cut-rifled, and my next barrel regardless of gun will have a BOSS tuner. IMO, nobody knows tuners better than Browning at this point, and their tuner is better than anything others have come up with.
