Barnes Triple-Shock reloading question.

I guess I'll ask here rather than new thread. I'm looking for Barnes reloading data and length from lands for 165grTSX in 308Win and 140grTSX in 270WSM.

Depends on what the barrel likes. Experiment and see which cartridge length works the best for you. No two reamers are exactly the same.

I was looking for Barnes recommmendation. I found out that Barnes recommends.050" off lands. I'll work from there. I also found out that TSX bullets can be loaded 1-2 grs more than Barnes X bullet info.

I have had fantastic accuracy with the 100gr Barnes TSX in my .25-06 Rem. Sendero. I usually load it with RL22 and seat .010" off the l-a-g. These bullets are as accurate as any (Yes, even Nosler Ballistic Tips) in my rifle.
The good thing about the Barnes bullet is that you can load light projectiles for a specific caliber. The 120gr may be just the ticket for the 7mm-08. As for powder, I load IMR and Hodgdon 4350 for the 7X57 Mauser, which is the ballistic twin of the 7-08. Hope this helps. JohnnyK.
