I have had fantastic accuracy with the 100gr Barnes TSX in my .25-06 Rem. Sendero. I usually load it with RL22 and seat .010" off the l-a-g. These bullets are as accurate as any (Yes, even Nosler Ballistic Tips) in my rifle.
The good thing about the Barnes bullet is that you can load light projectiles for a specific caliber. The 120gr may be just the ticket for the 7mm-08. As for powder, I load IMR and Hodgdon 4350 for the 7X57 Mauser, which is the ballistic twin of the 7-08. Hope this helps. JohnnyK.
