i think you'll find the weight of the bullet has very little, if anything to do with the POI. separating by weight is just not necessary.

Considering that the weight variation was less than 1% in a hunting bullet I woould have to agree with Dave.

How about shooting a group with the 3 lightest bullets and then another with the 3 heaviest bullets (on top of the original group) to see if you can distinguish between them. That should shed some light on the matter.

Is it true that these bullets open up "REALLY" fast compared to other bullets?

A bullet that opens up extremely fast yet holds together seems just the ticket for a deer bullet.

I've killed a bunch of game with the tsx but only two with the ttsx, so not a fair comparison yet. I would say they may open a little faster, but the tsx opened up very quickly anyway on all the deer I shot. They opened up as fast as a btip anyway.

I shot a six point elk in Idaho last Nov. at 600 yards with a 180 grainer out of a 300saum starting at 2950fps. The bullet entered just behind the shoulder above the lungs and under the spine. The bull dropped in its tracks. I’ve only shot the one animal but I shot them at the range quite a bit before the trip and was real happy with them out to 700 yards.

I used them on a hunt. my guy that reloads for suggested them more for my bear hunting but that they would work well for deer and larger animals. i must say i was impressed with a 700 yard shot and that buck dropped . the bullet worked well both at 200 and 700 on deer.
i have shot hogs with the TSX in a 270 and at close range they do great on them too

Were these the two bucks you shot on your trip to Montana?
