Re: Automatic powder dispensers?

I have gone full circle. I started loading back in the late 70's with a Lyman 55 and balance beam scale. I progressed to a digital scale in the 90's and then bought a Lyman DPS III in the 2000's. When I got into long range shooting, I throw a charge on the DPS III and trickle to spec on a fine tuned Ohaus balance beam scale. I just ordered a manual powder measure as its faster than the electronic versions and since I manually trickle up the electronic scale is going to gather dust.

The digital scale still has its uses. I still prefer it when weighing epoxy for bedding, weighing cases, bullets, etc.

Hornady stuff is tough to beat. Other than the lock n load progressive I have liked everything I have owned with their name on it.

Re: Automatic powder dispensers?

One thing I have noticed is that when metering ball powders a small amount likes to bounce out of the pan. Creates a pretty good mess after a 110 or so rounds...... Meters extruded powder like a dream!
