Haven't tried the Hart tool, but it'd be worth a shot. In the mean time, you migth try switching primers, depending on what you're already using. The CCI primers tend to run a bit large, and will "cure" the problem for another firing or two, maybe even more. This isn't really a "fix" a much as a stopgap measure, but there ya' go.

Re: any way to tighten primer pockets

I find that if my primer pockets are getting loose even after multiple firings, I am running too much freakin pressure. I back off the load and keep my pockets tight. If a load is expanding pockets, its too dang hot.

Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (where the shot goes, how big the group is, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.

Michael,
And here I was trying to find a nice, polite way to say that. It's a limiting factor, no question, and needs to be read as such.

Michael, Kevin,

Squat, that ain't no fun

I still like the super glue thing.

I really feel that as my wind reading abilities and my shooting confidence improves the pressures will decrease.
