Any recommendations on presses?

Guys I must admit that I am new to re-loading. I plan to tinker with some 338 RUM loads. I doubt I will load a 100 rounds a year. I want a good yet not too expensive set up. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Re: Any recommendations on presses?

Lee has a new cast press out that is as nice as they get, Oh ,yeah they just happen to be the best press of that class for the money. Ambidextrous, primer catch tube ,rock of Gibralter design, this is your press( around 65 or so dollars)
Hope this helps , Jim B.

Re: Any recommendations on presses?

Ill second Jim's reccomendation for the lee classic cast press... just make sure its that one not a Challenger...
Theres also a Lyman singlestage press that might fit the bill in the same price rangeish, but The Lee press is definately the beefier of the two.

Lee Classic Cast.

They've got the competition beat hands down w/ this press.

Cabelas had them for around 57-59 awhile back and shipping is only about 6 bucks or so.

Good Luck!
