Any data for 7mm rem mag using RL25?

Does anyone have any data for a 7mm rem mag with Reloader 25 powder? I have 162gr Hornady Amax's and 180gr Bergers to load. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Any data for 7mm rem mag using RL25?

I show the following from Hornady's 7th Edition - most current, manual for the 162 gr. A-MAX.

RL-25: 59.4 gr. min @ 2600 fps -to- 69.3 gr. max @ 3000 fps

I don't have anything on the 180 gr. Berger but you can email Walt directly at the following email: bergerltd@aol.com and he will get you data for the 7mm Rem Mag using 180 gr. Bergers.

Hope you weren't looking for actual proven data as I have no experience with the 7mm Rem Mag.

Re: Any data for 7mm rem mag using RL25?

I load 70gr. of RL25 behind a 162 Amax in a 7mm rem mag. Fed. 215 primer. Nosler brass. This load chrony's an average of exactly 3000fps and groups 0.25" in the particular rifle I'm shooting.

I really like RL25 in the 7mm rem mag. This same powder and charge weight works well with 168 SMK in the 7mm rem mag for me as well.

Of course, work up to this load in your rifle. Good luck, Eric

Here is QL data for a 28" barrel. I believe this is similar to what Berger will send you.

Cartridge : 7 mm Rem. Mag.
Bullet : .284, 180, Berger VLD
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.290 inch or 83.57 mm
Barrel Length : 28.0 inch or 711.2 mm
Powder : Alliant Reloder-25

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.
