Re: annealing and brass prep what order

I think that the traditional answer is to anneal first and then resize.Other steps like trimming to length, chamfering ,primer pocket work can be done in any order. However, that being said, I have always annealed last .Early on it just felt like bullets seated the smoothest and maintained the most uniform length that way for me.
I am convinced that consistency is more important than the order in which things are done.

I use A slightly different order than some. I clean, Anneal, size and trim.

I feel I get better sizing because after Annealing the spring back if the brass is more consistent
there fore the bullet grip is more consistent IMO.

Brush residue out the inside of the neck
    Anneal
    Clean by tumbling
    Size & Decap
    Trim
    Primer pocket clean up
    Chamfer and debur

    Ready to load

Sometimes I sonic clean. Changes to the above are as needed.

    +1.

Why would you put on clean white underwear with dirty hands?

You clean the brass first (like your hands) and then you anneal and prep.
