Frank21- Thanks alot for the load info really appreciate it!!!

LinksMechanic- I would love to try the 180's but no one brings in bergers here its all special order. I was just lucky in that someone had ordered these then changed thier mind. My dealer knew I wanted to try some bergers so he gave me a call and I went and picked them up. I'll probably get around to ordering some soon though.

Thanks Again!!!

Dave

The 168g VLD shoots pretty good for me out of my Rem 700 BDL, 7 RM as well with 64g RL-22, Win case, Fed 215, OAL= 3.450" Velocity is 2950fps. Groups have always been 1/2 MOA.

Tried some 180g VLD's a couple weeks ago with RL-22 and found a good load at 61g RL-22. Velocity is 2825 fps. Groups are 1/2 MOA.

Either bullet has over 1K ft lbs of energy at 1000 yards, and still going over 1600fps.

7mm mag vs 7stw vs dakota

i have a 7 mm mag i was wondering would it be that much of a gain to go to a 7 stw or a Dakota? as far as long range and how do they compare to the 7mm rum ? also on a other note iv looked at the 264 rem mag rem offers in the sendero what are some opinions on this cart. ?

I load the 180 bergers for my 700 police 7mm and they shoot under half inch easy at 100yds. Nosler brass, 68.3 grains retumbo, 215M primers, seated .005 off of lands.
