7mm RM and Hybrid 100V
Anybody using this powder in 7 mm RM? What are your experiances? More FPS and less pressure or the opposite?
I have been experimenting with the new Hybrid 100V in my 7mm RM. So far I have used it only with 139 gr Hornady Interlocks. I am trying for a load that will yield a consistant 3200 FPS for a 500 yard whitetail load.
I am shooting a Remington 700 BDL with a wood stock. I bedded the action myself with devcon & floated the barrel. I also did the trigger myself as well.
So far with 64.0 grains (1 grain over the max listed load) I am averaging about 3150 fps with decent accuracy. I did shoot one three shot group into less than 1/2" but that was the exception. Groups are running around an inch.
Pressure signs still look safe so I am going to kick it up a notch and try to work up to 65.0
