7mm 140gr VLD?
There were a few on this board who were lucky enough to get in on the testing
of this bullet. I imagine there are others who have used them. How were your
results? How are they in accuracy compared to the 7mm 168 VLDs? How far
off/into the lands is needed for accuracy in your rifle? I would also be very
interested in hearing from anyone who has used them in the 7mm WSM
cartridge. Thanks!
I was one of the fortunate ones to try this bullet at Berger's expense.
I found the bullet to be extremely accurate (as all Berger's tend to be)
and to perform at the terminal end exactly as they describe it should.
I have not shot the 168's so I cannot compare them to those, but I would expect them to be wonderful for the 7mm/08.
I shot mine in a 7mm Rem Mag.

Did you space them off the lands, to the lands, or into the lands for
accuracy?
