75gr A-max in 22-250
Hi all,
Im new to your site and so far have found it helpful, I am looking for a load for a 22-250 t/c with a 1in12 twist. the powder i hoped to use is IMR 4895 with a 75gr A-Max bullet. any help would be greatly appreiciated.

I think they will keyhole with the 1-12 twist as they did in my 22-250 rem 700,and my rem model 7 223. They are ment for 1-7/1-8 twist if you can get a couple from a friend try them before buying a box but I think you'll find they keyhole.

Yup. Even 1:9 twist isn't always enough. 1:8 and they work just fine.

I forgot to mention ven though I would need to single feed them my mini 1-9 also keyholed.

i don't think you can do it. A 22-250 with a 1:12 twist will barely shoot 60 grain bullets
