Re: 7 mm rm-160gr. accubond using H-1000

I already have a few bottles of H-1000 (does great in my 300 wm)-I've been wanting to do some load development for my 7 mag and have considered using the H-1000 since I have a bunch of it.

Has anyone used it or currently use it? any recipe input?

160 Accubond - seated to just touch
H1000 (ADI 2217)
Federal brass
Federal 215 primer

I use 71-73 gr depending on the lot of H1000, getting 3050 ish from a 26" barrel.

Hope that helps.

Kiwi-looks like you're getting some good velocity, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of groups?

Around the inch at 100yds. I use 168 bergers as my long range load, so only use the accubond inside 300 yds. Not really worried about group size.

Re: 7 mm rm-160gr. accubond using H-1000

I have good luck with H1000 in my 24 inch barreled Ruger Mark II. My load with the 160 Accubond consists of RP brass, Fed 215 primers, and 71-72 grains of H1000. My velocities are from 2950 to just over 3000 ft/sec. with accuracy under one inch for a three shot group at 100 yards.
