7/300 Wby, 180 Bergers Load Data?
I've been shooting the 168's using 78 Grains of IMR 7828SSC. Barrel is a 30" Hart. I bought some new 180's(hunting) to give them a shot and am just looking for a short cut. I know there are a few of you guys with 7/300's and thought I would look for a starting point.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 7/300 Wby, 180 Bergers Load Data?
I shoot a 7/300 Wby Improved, read 35* shoulder and minimal body taper.
My accuracy load with the 180 Berger is 75.0 gr of H-1000 at 3200 fps.
I suggest you start below my published data and work up from there...

Thanks Joel! How do they shoot? My gun likes sierras, but didn't shoot the 168 Bergers very well. I'm hoping it likes the 180's better, I would like the extra weight.

Re: 7/300 Wby, 180 Bergers Load Data?
I was able to get 1/2" groups at 300 and about 2.0" groups at 450 yards.
I usually shoot the 168's in it as it's primarily used as a varmint rifle...

I would and have used 7mm STW load data when starting with the 7-300 wby.
