6.5 stw info

im currently having christensen arms build me a 6.5 stw
does anyone have any reloading info id like to use the 130 accubond
plan on taking it to wyoming for antelope and mule deer

I don't have a 6.5 STW but do use a 264 Win mag with a long 27 3/4" barrel. Retumbo is the powder it likes and it loves the 130 Accubond doing 3350 fps. I killed 4 deer with this combo this past season from 98 to 275 yards and all dropped in their tracks. Recovered one bullet from a buck at 111 yards facing me. Found the bullet in it's ham. Perfect mushroom and weight was 87 grs. Bullet had to still be doing 3200 fps at least on impact. I would not worry about over pushing that bullet from the STW. I believe that Retumbo would be the first powder that I would try also. Good luck.
