I don't know of any load data available for the 6.5-06AI, but the Sierra Edition V has data for the 6.5-06. You can start with it and work up. Good luck.

I can't find any for the 6.5-06 AI, but the nosler 6th edition has the 6.5-06 load data also! Good luck!

    Re: 6.5-06 AI Fireforming

Here is some data from my Nosler #6 Manual for the 6.5-06 and Nosler Partition.

    n165 50.5 Grains Max 2906FPS 24" barrel
    RL19 48.5 Grains Max 2902
    IMR4350 46.5 Grains Max 2869
    RL22 50.5 Grains Max 2860FPS 24" Barrel

Max will be approx 2 Grains Higher with the AI. Of course work up loads. The 130s look good in this cartridge. 53grains of N560 top out at 3151 fps from a 24" barrel and 53 grains of RL22 get 3121 fps.

Remember that when fireforming you should be using data for the parent case rather than data for the Improved case. You'll also want a moderate charge (1-2grns blow max) and seat the bullets into the lands. This helps with brass expansion and doing so with safe pressures.

    I have 2 Ackleys (a .243 AI and .30-06AI) and I'm building #3 also a 6.5-06 AI.

Hodgdon has load data for the standard 6.5-06 on their data center as well.

What brass are you using for this rifle, .25-06, .30-06, or .270 Win??? It could make a diffrence in technique.
