.458/300 RUM

Maybe not a Looong Range caliber but just wondering if anyone has tried this. And what were the results.

Re: .458/300 RUM

Basically you will split the difference between a 458 Lott and a 460 Wby.

Basically identical in performance to the new 450 Dakota and Rigby rounds. They have more case volume but the 458 RUM is generally loaded to higher pressures so performance is identical pretty much.

500 gr pills at 2450 fps on average.
