.338 lapua hand load/powder

Hey guys, new to the forum here, and mostly new to the .338 lapua round, I was curious on some of the most effective powders for a 250grain berger, I have a savage 110fcp hs presision, with a 26" barrel, with a 1in9" twist, I just picked up some H-1000 and some RE25! I have heard a lot of good about IMR4350! And retumbo, unfortunately I cant find any for sale, also curious what primers ya'll are using! Thanks!

    Personally, I'm using H1000 or Retumbo powder and Federal 215M Primers.
    I am however using 300 Sierra SMK bullets.

    Retumbo for 300 grain bullets. H4831SC for 250grain bullets.

    And also curious what kinda scopes you guys are runnin, and at what distance?

    I use a Nightforce 5.5-22x56 with the MOAR reticle. I've yet to shoot past 1K. I've heard the thickness of the MOAR vs the NPR-1 can be an issue at longer ranges, but at 1K it is not a hinderance (to me).

    I use a Nightfore 5.5-22x56 with the UHV reticle. The reason - I have all the adjustment but can shoot out to 800 yards without adjusting anything. The reticle also extends the range well past a mile at full adjustment.
