I shy away from CCI's because I have had a high percentage of them NOT fire. I have probably used around five hundred CCI's from several lots and had problems with nearly every lot. I have used over 10,000 Federal GMM with 0 problems from -20 degrees to 90 above.
I cannot speak for CCI's current quality as I have not used them in nearly 10 years.
I've also had problems with CCI primers not firing
range it,check the wind, dial in correction, aim and only one shot
nddodd, i think a 13 ES is pretty good. would be happy with that. did you notice any difference in velocity?
Yes dave the cci's were 15 to 20 fps faster but the accuracy was not as good as with the fgmm. The cci's shot a little over an inch at 200 and the fgmm were right at .75. This weekend i am going to try 93.5 and 94 gr of 1000 with both types of primers again and see how the accuracy goes.
